1. Don't be mean keep it clean
Your mat deserves a little tlc sometimes so when cleaning use a tiny drop of soap diluted very heavily with plenty of water. Wipe your mat gently with a non-abrasive sponge that is damp but not soaking wet. Although remarkably durable, over-cleaning or using abrasive products will wear out the mat/materials faster. Let it dry properly after cleaning or after a sweaty session.
2. Sunshine is good for the soal but not the best for your mat.
Overtime you may find sunshine fades the colour of your mat and also degrades it quicker.
3. That rock and roll lifestyle.
Your mat prefers to be rolled to be stored rather than folded, scrunched or trapped in a corner under piles of things which may crease, mark or wear out longevity of your mat.
4. Your mat prefers the naked life rather than the bling life.
Certain jewellery, zips, buckles, shoes etc may score or mark your mat along with extra oily products on your skin or makeup tan
5. Use your mat and if you have a pet let it join you so you can be the dream team cat on the mat.
